Primark Launches First Standalone Home Store In Greater Manchester

Primark has officially opened its first standalone home store in Great Britain at Trafford Palazzo, offering interiors lovers a dedicated space to explore the brand’s trend-led home essentials.

Spread across nearly 12,000 sq ft over two floors, the new store features plush bedding, cosy throws, decorative accents, storage solutions, and a mezzanine travel section with stylish luggage and accessories. Shoppers were welcomed by a live DJ and festive opening-day atmosphere.

The launch coincides with a revamp of Primark’s existing Trafford Palazzo store, which now boasts expanded womenswear, upgraded health & beauty fixtures, and a new nails beauty studio. To celebrate, six shoppers have the chance to win £100 vouchers hidden across Manchester, with clues shared via @primark.home on Instagram.

Ceara Doyle, Store Manager at Trafford Palazzo, said: “This new store is a dream for interiors fans. We’re excited to welcome shoppers to explore our extensive range of stylish, affordable home pieces.”

Leandra Dwyer, Asset Manager at Peel Retail & Leisure, added: “Trafford Palazzo is becoming a leading destination for flagship retail concepts. Primark Home exemplifies our vision of vibrant spaces where retail and leisure thrive.”

The store reflects Primark’s growing home collection, featuring autumnal décor, festive Halloween trends, student essentials, and the premium Primark Edit line, which includes 500-thread count bedding, plush towels, home fragrances and ceramic tableware.

Following its successful debut in Belfast earlier this year, the Trafford Palazzo store strengthens Primark’s presence in Greater Manchester. Customers elsewhere in Great Britain can explore select homeware in-store or via Click & Collect.
