Record-Breaking Catalogue Show By ITAMMA In Erode Draws Massive Participation
The 28th edition of the Product-cum-Catalogue Show organized by the Indian Textile Accessories & Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (ITAMMA) at Parimalam Mahal, Erode, marked a resounding success, attracting over 64 exhibitors and 900+ visitors from the textile industry. The one-day event, held to promote the growth of Erode’s textile sector, provided a dynamic platform for manufacturers and suppliers of textile machinery and accessories to showcase their latest innovations and engage with potential buyers.
A special highlight of the event was the PowerPoint presentations by four companies, offering in-depth insights into their products and technologies. These sessions, attended by 75+ delegates, fostered productive business interactions and knowledge exchange.
Grasim Industries Limited, the lead sponsor, played a pivotal role by connecting numerous clients who use Aditya Birla Viscose Fibres with exhibitors, enabling them to explore machinery solutions tailored to enhance viscose yarn production—a key focus for nearly 80% of Erode’s textile units. Other sponsors included SIMTA and CELLCON, further strengthening the event’s technical depth and industry relevance.
The event was formally inaugurated by V.S. Palanisamy, Chairman, Pallava Group (M/s Pallava Textiles Pvt. Ltd., Erode), as Chief Guest, and Ramesh Natarajan, Executive Director, AGT Mills, Erode, as Guest of Honour.
As part of the inauguration, the dignitaries also unveiled “ITAMMA Voice” Volume No. 15, centered on the theme “Market Trends in the Textile Industry”, highlighting the evolving dynamics and future direction of textile markets.
