Recover Appoints Hans Ploos van Amstel As Executive Chairman Of Board Of Directors

Recover, the leading materials science company and large‑scale producer of sustainable, high‑quality recycled cotton fibre and cotton fibre blends, has announced the appointment of Hans Ploos van Amstel as Executive Chairman of its Board of Directors. Hans brings over three decades of global financial expertise and a proven track record of driving transformative growth across diverse industries, including significant experience in fashion and textiles.
Throughout his distinguished career, Hans has held key leadership roles at renowned companies such as Procter & Gamble, Levi Strauss & Co., the Adecco Group, and Partners Group. As Group Chief Financial Officer of Levi Strauss & Co., he played a pivotal role in the company’s transformation by leveraging his financial proficiency to enhance operational efficiency and spur innovation. He has also served as Co-Chief Executive Officer of C&A and Chief Financial Officer of Partners Group, a global asset manager overseeing more than US$150 billion in assets.
