Retail Veteran Vineet Jain Joins Reliance Retail As COO – Fashion & Lifestyle
Retail veteran Vineet Jain has joined Reliance Retail’s Fashion & Lifestyle business as Chief Operating Officer (COO), moving from V-Mart Retail, where he held a leadership position.
Jain brings nearly 30 years of experience in the retail sector, with leadership stints at V-Mart Retail, Future Group and Vishal Retail. During his tenure at V-Mart, he led several major business, operational and digital transformation initiatives, while contributing to the company’s retail expansion and profitability.
In his new role at Reliance Retail, Jain will oversee operations, customer experience, business development, network expansion and asset productivity, with a focus on supporting the company’s next phase of profitable growth.
Prior to V-Mart, Jain spent more than 17 years with Future Group, where he held several senior leadership positions, including CEO – North India. He was closely involved in scaling key retail formats such as Big Bazaar, Food Bazaar and FBB, and also led the turnaround of Easyday and Big Apple.
A Chartered Accountant, Jain is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School, IIM Ahmedabad and INSEAD. His extensive experience across retail operations, transformation and business expansion is expected to strengthen Reliance Retail’s Fashion & Lifestyle business as it continues to scale its network and enhance customer experience.
