S M Mannan Kochi To Lead BGMEA Team For 2024-2026 Term
The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) elected its new board of directors for the 2024-2026 term on March 14, with S M Mannan Kochi, Chairman of Seha Design Ltd, assuming the role of President.
The new board is poised to assume responsibility following the conclusion of the current board’s term on April 6, as confirmed by BGMEA officials.
Key appointments include Syed Nazrul Islam, Managing Director of Well Designers Ltd, elected as the first Vice-President and Khandoker Rafiqul Islam, Managing Director of Designtex Knitwear Ltd, appointed as the Senior Vice-President.
Additionally, the new Vice-Presidents are as follows: Arshad Jamal Dipu, Chairman of Tusuka Fashions Ltd; Md Nasir Uddin, Managing Director of Sadma Fashion Wear Ltd (finance); Miran Ali, Managing Director of Misami Garments Ltd; Abdullah Hil Rakib, Managing Director of 4A Yarn Dyeing Ltd and Rakibul Alam Chowdhury, Managing Director of HKC Apparels Ltd.
