Sanathan Textiles Commences Commercial Production At Expanded Technical Textiles Facility
Sanathan Textiles Limited has commenced commercial production from its expanded Technical Textiles yarn manufacturing capacity at its Silvassa facility.
The expansion has doubled the company’s Technical Textiles yarn capacity from 9,000 MTPA to 18,000 MTPA, taking Sanathan Textiles’ total installed yarn capacity across its three verticals at its Silvassa and Punjab facilities to 488,250 MTPA.
Commercial production began in line with the timeline previously communicated by the company in its July 23, 2026 intimation.
The expanded capacity further strengthens Sanathan Textiles’ integrated manufacturing platform and enhances its ability to cater to growing demand for specialised yarns across diverse technical textile applications.
Technical Textiles is a rapidly growing segment, with Sanathan Textiles’ yarns serving industries including automotive, agriculture, defence, infrastructure, roads and railways, sportswear, healthcare and industrial safety. The company’s products are also used in specialised applications such as protective clothing and fire-retardant wear.
