Santosh Katariya Re-Elected CMAI President For Second Term

Santosh Katariya has been re-elected as President of the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) for a second consecutive term, with the association’s core leadership team also retaining their respective positions.
The continuity in leadership reflects the confidence of CMAI members in the association’s ongoing initiatives and industry engagement, while providing a clear mandate to further strengthen the competitiveness of India’s apparel ecosystem.
Following his re-election, Katariya expressed gratitude to the association’s office bearers and managing committee for their continued confidence and renewed mandate.
“The past two years have been an enriching journey of new initiatives, learning, teamwork and progress. As we begin a new term, I, along with my entire team, look forward to working with renewed energy and commitment to take CMAI to new heights and deliver greater value to our members and the Indian apparel industry,” he said.
Alongside Katariya, the association’s core leadership team has also been re-elected, ensuring continuity across key areas including trade initiatives, government engagement, member services and administration.
The leadership team includes Rohit Munjal, Vice President and Chairman, Fair Sub Committee, and Ankur Gadia, Vice President and Chairman, Government Subsidy & CSR Sub Committee.
The administrative team will continue to be led by Naveen Sainani, Hon. Gen. Secretary, supported by Mukesh Jain, Hon. Jt. Gen. Secretary. Paresh Vora, Hon. Treasurer, and Dinesh Nandu, Hon. Jt. Treasurer, will continue to oversee the association’s financial functions.
The continuation of the core leadership team is expected to enable CMAI to build on its ongoing activities without disruption, while sharpening its focus on the evolving requirements of the apparel industry, particularly the MSME segment.
