ShinWon CEO JJ Park To Speak At ASEAN Inclusive Growth Summit 2025

ShinWon Corporation, a leading global apparel manufacturer, announced that CEO JJ Park has been invited as the only Korean panelist to speak at the ASEAN Inclusive Growth Summit 2025 (AIGS), to be held on October 24 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The recognition highlights ShinWon’s long-standing commitment to improving working environments, fostering inclusive cultures, and promoting human-centered growth across its global production network, particularly within its key ASEAN operations.
AIGS, an official side event of the 47th ASEAN Summit, is co-hosted by the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth and the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC). It brings together government, business and social leaders to explore strategies for sustainable and inclusive economic growth in the region.
Guided by the philosophy that ‘Human resources are a company’s most valuable asset,’ ShinWon has consistently invested in employee welfare, career advancement and gender equity with women representing nearly 75% of management roles worldwide.
ShinWon collaborates with the global initiative RISE (Reimagining Industry to Support Equality) and recently launched the RISE Financial Program in partnership with Mastercard to enhance financial literacy for employees in Indonesia. The company also advances sustainability through blockchain-based traceability (Retraced), AI-driven smart factories, and a Net Zero roadmap validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
At AIGS, CEO Park will join the session ‘Leading with Purpose: Building a Sustainable Business,’ alongside Indonesian actress and activist Maudy Ayunda, moderated by Ellen Jackowski, Chief Sustainability Officer of Mastercard.
“Sustainable manufacturing is no longer optional — it is essential for the coexistence of humanity and the planet,” said Park. “ShinWon will continue to build a fairer, more responsible industrial ecosystem driven by people, technology, and data.”
