Shivtek Spechemi To Build New Chemical Plant In Hazira, Gujarat
Shivtek Spechemi Industries Ltd, a leading name in the specialty chemicals sector and the flagship company of the Shiva Group of Industries, has announced the establishment of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility near Hazira, Gujarat. Spread across more than 1 million square feet, the new unit is expected to be operational by 2027 and will contribute an additional 2,50,000 MTPA to the company’s total production capacity by FY 2027–28.
Strategically located, the Hazira site offers excellent connectivity to key ports including Hazira, Dahej, Kandla, and Mundra, ensuring efficient import-export operations. Its proximity to the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) further streamlines the movement of raw materials and finished products, enhancing cost-effectiveness across the supply chain. The site is also just 70 kilometers from Shivtek’s existing Dahej plant, allowing for significant reductions in logistics costs.
To support the expansion, the project includes a 5,000 KL storage facility and a 1,50,000 sq ft dedicated warehousing unit for export orders and materials sourced from Dahej.

The upcoming Hazira plant will specialize in producing oil additives, Proteogenic to Aprotic solvents, and specialty petrochemicals, significantly expanding Shivtek’s product portfolio.
