Shivtek Spechemi To Invest INR 650 Cr In Green Chemical Plants In Gujarat & Rajasthan
Shivtek Spechemi Industries Ltd, the flagship company of Shiva Group of Industries and a leading name in specialty chemicals, has announced a major expansion with an investment of Rs 650 crore to set up state-of-the-art chemical manufacturing facilities in Gujarat and Rajasthan. This strategic move aims to boost India’s green manufacturing capabilities and strengthen the company’s footprint in the specialty chemical sector.
Spread over 100 acres, the upcoming plants will collectively add a production capacity of 500,000 MTPA, raising Shivtek’s total capacity to 650,000 MTPA from its current 150,000 MTPA across three operational plants in Dahej, Gujarat (112,800 MTPA), Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh (22,800 MTPA), and Rajpura, Punjab (14,400 MTPA).
The new facilities will focus on eco-friendly production of high-grade chlorinated compounds, caustic soda, chlorine, and value-added derivatives including chlorinated paraffin and the company’s proprietary ShivaSol range of lubricants—some of which will be manufactured in India for the first time.
The Gujarat unit, located near Hazira port, offers excellent export logistics, while the Rajasthan plant will benefit from strong northern distribution networks and industrial infrastructure. Both plants will employ advanced green technologies and are expected to create over 500 jobs within three years.

Construction will begin in 2026, with commercial operations expected between 2028 and 2029. Shivtek’s strong credit credentials remain validated with CRISIL reaffirming its A- rating for the third consecutive year, reflecting the company’s operational resilience and sustainability-led growth.
