Smart, Sustainable Auto Packaging By Freudenberg
Freudenberg Performance Materials will present its Evolon packaging solutions at Fachpack 2025, to be held in Nuremberg from September 23–25. Designed to meet the protective packaging needs of automotive OEMs and tier suppliers, Evolon materials offer high surface protection, reduce CO₂ emissions and help prevent waste. Freudenberg will exhibit at Stand 3-231 in Hall 3.
Evolon textiles are engineered for reusable packaging of sensitive automotive components such as moulded plastics and painted parts. With up to 85% recycled content, the materials contribute to lower carbon footprints—35% less than conventional fabrics—while maintaining strong mechanical properties at lighter weights.
The newly developed Evolon Ultra Force offers 50% less weight than comparable PVC-based materials, contains minimum 50% recycled content and is PVC-free.
Designed for multiple reuse cycles, Evolon packaging reduces single-use waste and lasts through an entire vehicle model’s production cycle, supporting OEMs’ quality and sustainability goals.
