Sri Lankan exports of apparel in 2023 amounted to US $4,535 million, dropping by 18.81 percent compared to $5,591 million in 2022

Of this exports of knitted garment totaled $2,705 million in the previous year, down 20.13 percent as against $3,387 million in 2022

Woven clothing overseas shipments reached $1,735 million in the reporting year, falling by 17.18 percent from $2,095 million in its earlier year
