SRTEPC Hosts Event In Istanbul To Promote Bharat Tex 2024
An event was organised in Istanbul as a curtain raiser to ‘Bharat Tex 2024’, the biggest global textile exhibition to be held in New Delhi from February 26-29, 2024.
“Bharat Tex will be the largest global textile event, covering the entire value chain of textiles from farm to fashion,” the Indian Consulate General’s office in Turkey said in a statement.
Speaking at the event, Consul General of India Mijito Vinito emphasised the immense untapped potential between India and Turkey in the textiles sector.
Synthetic and Rayon Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC) Chairman Bhadresh Dodhia invited Turkey’s textile sector to Bharat Tex and emphasised on avenues for partnerships for mutual benefit.
The textile event was attended by a substantial number of exporters, buyers and leaders of textile associations in Turkey.
