Surat To Host Textile Seminar As Precursor To Vibrant Gujarat
A seminar will be held in Surat titled ‘Future Ready 5F: Gujarat’s Textile Vision for Viksit Bharat’ on November 23, as a precursor to the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024.
Chintan Thaker, Chairman-ASSOCHAM Gujarat Council will deliver the welcome address, followed by an audio-visual film on the textile and apparel ecosystem of Gujarat.
Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Textile and Darshana Jardosh, Minister of State for Textile will also share their insights on role of textile & apparels for Viksit Bharat.
Vivek Mehta, CEO (Textile Division) Reliance Industries, Priyavrata Mafatlal, Vice Chairman, Arvind Mafatlal Group, Kulin Lalbhai, Executive Director, Arvind Ltd will also share their views.
The overall event is divided in three sessions. The first is on ‘Knitting Gujarat’s Textile Vision for Viksit Bharat’ moderated by Suhail Nathani, Chairman of the ASSOCHAM National Trade Council.
The second session is on ‘From Looms to Leading Edge Textile Infrastructure’ moderated by Prashant Agarwal, Co-founder, and Joint Managing Director of Wazir Advisors.
And the third and final session will be on ‘Weaving Tradition Technology’ moderated by Suryadeb Mukherjee, Senior Consultant at Gherzi Textil Organisation.
Vibrant Gujarat is a biennial global business summit that will be held from 10-12 January 2024 in Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar.
