Global cotton markets are heading towards a tighter supply situation in 2026/27, with world cotton ending stocks projected to decline by nearly 5.5 million bales, or 7%, to 69.9 million bales, according to the latest Cotton and Wool Outlook report from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).
December 2023/24 U.S. cotton forecasts include lower production, mill use and ending stocks.
