France’s National Assembly has passed a bill to restrict the production, import and sale of products containing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), also known as “forever chemicals.” The legislation, which secured 231 votes in favour and 51 against, was earlier approved by the Senate and will take effect in January 2026. The ban targets products
