H&M Group and Vargas Holding launched Syre, a new initiative to manufacture textile-to-textile recycled polyester fibre. Syre is also backed by TPG Rise Climate and aims to rapidly scale textile-to-textile recycling of polyester and contribute to a more sustainable textile industry. H&M
Lindström India, a subsidiary of the Finnish Lindström Oy, a global textile rental company offering workwear and cleanroom services has included recycled polyester from PET bottles into its workwear garments. “Through this initiative Lindström India has reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability with yet another proactive initiative,” the company said in a press release.
