Taiwan Non-Woven Delegation Explores Investment Opportunities In Telangana
Team Invest India facilitated a meeting in New Delhi between a Taiwan Non-Woven Delegation, led by Shelly Chien, Chairperson of the Taiwan Nonwoven Fabrics Industry Association (TNFIA) and senior officials from the Government of Telangana. The delegation met Dharani Kanth Koganti, Director (Textiles), to assess emerging opportunities in the state’s expanding technical textiles and non-woven manufacturing sector.
During the discussion, Telangana officials highlighted the state’s strong industrial ecosystem, advanced textile infrastructure and investor-friendly policies, including the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park and T-TAP incentives. The meeting underscored significant synergies between Taiwan’s globally recognised non-woven expertise and Telangana’s growing capabilities in high-value textile manufacturing.
Both sides expressed interest in exploring collaboration in areas such as innovation, R&D, and sustainable production. The engagement marks a promising step toward deeper cooperation, leveraging Taiwan’s technological strengths and Telangana’s manufacturing competitiveness to advance India–Taiwan partnerships in the global technical textile supply chain.
