TEA Shares Sustainability Initiatives At Textile Exchange AGM

The Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA) which recently attended the annual meeting of the Textile Exchange to share sustainability initiatives of its members is hopeful of having its own session at the next annual meeting.

“TEA office-bearers attended the annual meeting in London and informally shared information with delegates at the meeting about sustainability and environmental initiatives of its members,” The Hindu reported.

TEA which become a member of the Textile Exchange earlier in September this year, informed about its initiatives which include zero liquid discharge, renewable energy generation, recycling of water, etc.
