TEA Signs MoU With Infinite Cercle To Strengthen Waste Management And Traceability

The Tiruppur Exporters’ Association (TEA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Infinite Cercle Pvt Ltd to develop a structured and traceable waste management ecosystem in Tiruppur.
The initiative, undertaken as part of TEA’s Business Promotion, Branding and Sustainability Sub-Committee, aims to create a compliant, digitised and transparent waste management system for member units, aligned with evolving ESG and regulatory requirements.
Tiruppur, widely recognised for its sustainability leadership—including Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems with nearly 96% water recycling and significant adoption of renewable energy—is now extending its focus to waste management and traceability.
The collaboration will focus on key areas such as industrial waste management, digital auctioning of recyclables, scientific handling of food and hazardous waste, and end-to-end traceability supported by ESG-ready reporting systems.
By introducing structured processes and digital tracking, the initiative is expected to enhance compliance, improve audit readiness and help exporters meet increasing global buyer expectations around transparency and sustainability.
Industry leaders noted that the move represents a practical and scalable step toward strengthening Tiruppur’s position as a responsible and future-ready textile manufacturing hub.
The initiative has been supported by TEA leadership, including Chairman A. Sakthivel and President K.M. Subramanian, along with the association’s sustainability committee members.
