TMMA Honours Textile Engineering Firms At 66th R&D And Export Awards
The Textile Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (India) (TMMA) presented its 66th R&D and Export Awards during its Annual General Meeting held on September 18, 2026, in Mumbai, recognising companies for their contributions to India’s textile engineering industry. Rieter India Pvt Ltd, Pune, received the Apex Award.
The Segment Export Awards were presented to Kirloskar Toyota Textile Machinery Pvt. Ltd. for the machinery sector, Lakshmi Card Clothing Mfg. Co. Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore, for parts and accessories, and Premier Evolvics Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore, for textile testing, monitoring and controlling instruments.
The Special Export Awards recognised Truetzschler India Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, in spinning machinery; Bhagat Textile Engineers, Surat, in synthetic machinery; Colorjet India Ltd., Noida, in processing machinery and Sieger Spintech Equipments Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore, in parts and accessories.
In the small scale categories, Menzel Engineering India Pvt. Ltd., Palghar, won the machinery award, while Inspiron Engineering India Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, received the parts and accessories award.
The R&D awards recognised LMW Ltd., Coimbatore, for its LRJ90 SX SXL ring frame; The Indian Card Clothing Company Ltd., Pune, for stainless steel card clothing for medical textiles and synthetic fibre processing and Lakshmi Card Clothing Mfg. Co. Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore, for the development of Alfa Comb and Alfa Top Comb.
Certificates of Appreciation were also presented to Ramsons Garment Finishing Equipments Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru and Sieger Spintech Equipments Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore.
