Trident Bags Triple Honours At CII Energy Awards
Trident Group has earned multiple national honours at the 10th Edition of the CII National Energy Efficiency Circle Competition 2026, recognising its leadership in energy efficiency, ESG performance and low-carbon manufacturing.
Held on July 2–3 under the theme Powering the Net Zero Goals, the competition honoured organisations driving innovation and excellence in sustainability and climate action.
Trident emerged as the National Winner in the Best Case Study on Low Carbon/Carbon Neutral Initiatives & Net Zero Roadmap (Large/Medium Sector) category. The company also received the National Gold Award for Best Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Practices (Large Category) and was recognised for its Strong Commitment under the Best Energy Efficient Organization (Large/Medium Sector) category.
The awards are particularly significant as the Low Carbon/Carbon Neutral Initiatives & Net Zero Roadmap and Best ESG Practices categories were introduced by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for the first time this year.
Trident was also recognised as an Excellent Energy Efficient Organization for the third time, having previously received the honour in 2016 and 2017. The latest recognition reflects the company’s sustained efforts to improve energy efficiency while embedding sustainability across its operations.
Organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the National Energy Efficiency Circle Competition is one of India’s leading platforms for recognising best practices in energy management, sustainability and climate action. The 2026 edition brought together industry leaders, technology providers and sustainability professionals to share innovations and accelerate the country’s transition towards its Net Zero goals.
