Trident Group To Invest Rs 3,000 Crore In Madhya Pradesh’s Textile Sector

Trident Group Chairman Rajinder Gupta reinforced the company’s dedication to growth, investment, and employment in the textile sector during the Invest Madhya Pradesh: Regional Industry Conclave held at Narmadapuram. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, held a one-on-one meeting with Shri Gupta to discuss opportunities for investment and industrial expansion.

Addressing the conclave, Gupta expressed gratitude to the Madhya Pradesh government and highlighted Trident’s successful journey in the state. “We ventured into Madhya Pradesh a few years ago with an investment of Rs 5,000 crores. Today, our products from the state are exported to 122 countries, with demand continuing to grow,” he said.

Looking to the future, Gupta announced plans for an additional Rs 3,000 crore investment in the state’s textile sector, aiming to expand Trident Group’s workforce from 12,000 to over 15,000. He emphasized the company’s commitment to ensuring the benefits of operations remain within Madhya Pradesh, sourcing local cotton and utilizing the state’s potential for green energy, including solar and wind power.

Trident also plans to focus on skill development and women’s empowerment, reserving 50% of new employment opportunities for women.

Gupta praised the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, noting that fostering collaboration between intellectuals and industrialists has spurred innovation and regional growth. He lauded Madhya Pradesh as a hub for sustainable industrial development and inclusive progress, further solidifying its appeal to global investors.
