Trident Reports Rs 1,678 Cr Revenue In Q3 FY25

The company is boosting sustainability with renewable energy projects
Trident Limited, one of India’s largest vertically integrated manufacturers of textiles, paper, and chemicals, announced its financial results for the quarter ending December 31, 2024. The company demonstrated its commitment to sustainable manufacturing and fiscal responsibility while delivering steady performance across its business segments.
For Q3 FY25, Trident reported a standalone income of Rs 1,678 crore. Earnings Before Interest, Depreciation, Tax, and Amortization (EBITDA) stood at Rs 225 crore, while Profit After Tax (PAT) amounted to Rs 78 crore for the quarter.
The standalone revenue for yarn and home textile stood at Rs 841 crore and Rs 938 crore, respectively, reflecting muted performance. The chemical and paper segments showed marginal improvement, contributing Rs 258 crore to the revenue.
Trident took significant strides in sustainability by launching a Renewable Energy Project to supply 60% of the power needs of its Budhni unit in Madhya Pradesh from renewable sources. The project includes plans for solar and wind energy plants, aiming to drastically reduce the carbon footprint and align with the company’s vision of a “Viksit Bharat” through sustainable practices.
Additionally, Trident installed a 16.4 MW rooftop solar facility during the quarter, further strengthening its renewable energy portfolio.
Commenting on the company’s achievements, Deepak Nanda, Managing Director of Trident Limited, stated: “We are proud to reaffirm our position as a leader in sustainable manufacturing. By reducing consolidated debt by Rs 191 crore and investing in renewable energy, we continue to create long-term value for our stakeholders.”
Trident showcased its sustainable textile innovations at Heimtextil, reaffirming its leadership in eco-friendly manufacturing. The company also launched the Karamyogi Recruitment Drive to hire 3,000 skilled individuals, supporting local communities and economic development.
The company received multiple awards, including the Best HR Practice and Workforce Diversity awards for HR excellence, and the gold trophy at the TEXPROCIL Awards for its contribution to India’s textile sector.
Trident launched four ambulances to enhance healthcare access and released its maiden Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report, underlining its dedication to sustainability. The company received an impressive S&P Global CSA score of 56 out of 100, showcasing its progress in sustainability initiatives.
