TrusTrace Unveils Advanced AI-Driven Forced Labour Prevention Solution
TrusTrace, a prominent SaaS firm renowned for its leading platform in product traceability and supply chain compliance within the fashion and retail sectors, has launched its enhanced AI-powered Forced Labour Prevention (FLP) Solution. This innovative offering is designed to assist brands in proactively mapping their supply chains, screening for risks and efficiently collecting evidence for regulatory adherence.
Shameek Ghosh, CEO of TrusTrace, stated, “Our FLP solution represents more than just a tool; it is a pledge towards a world where transparency and ethical practices in supply chains are fundamental. Eradicating forced labour from our global economy is paramount, and our solution empowers brands to lead this critical transformation proactively.”
The FLP solution integrates AI capabilities to handle vast amounts of data from intricate supply chains, enabling scalable collection of primary data per purchase order. This data is meticulously screened and validated for risks, ensuring brands possess verified evidence at both product and shipment levels.
Unlike solutions that rely on third-party data, which can introduce irrelevant information, TrusTrace’s FLP solution gathers primary data directly from suppliers, ensuring precise and reliable information about facilities, products and materials. To date, TrusTrace has mapped over two million purchase orders and more than 55,000 suppliers and facilities globally, showcasing its ability to automate primary data collection on a large scale.
This data is scrutinized against the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) entity list, and the solution can interface with any pertinent risk screening database.
The AI-driven Chain of Custody Creation and Document Collection within the FLP solution enhances speed, accuracy and cost-effectiveness, facilitating quick and comprehensive supply chain visibility and documentation compliance. Capable of classifying, extracting and translating large volumes of documents in over 100 languages, the solution creates a digital chain of custody, streamlining traditionally time-consuming manual processes and minimizing human error.
Fifteen brands globally have already adopted TrusTrace’s FLP solution for forced labour prevention. Vera Bradley is among these brands, viewing proactive supply chain traceability and data management as crucial for achieving their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitments.
The FLP solution has granted Vera Bradley detailed visibility into their supply chain, ensuring compliance with various standards and regulations.
