Turkey Will Suspend Antidumping Duty On PSF Imports From India

Earlier this month, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued a notification stating that anti-dumping measures for imported polyester staple fibre (PSF) will expire on August 4, 2024.

Turkish domestic manufacturers can file a sunset review investigation application before the expiration of the measure, which was imposed on PSF imports from India, China, Taiwan and Thailand.

On April 26, 2002, Turkey launched an anti-dumping investigation into PSF originating from the four top Asian producers of PSF.

On August 4, 2019, the Ministry of Trade issued a notification and imposed anti-dumping duties on the products involved which range from 6.4 percent to 12 percent.
