UMPESL & Draft-Air Partner To Strengthen Business In India

Universal MEP Projects & Engineering Services Limited (UMPESL), a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of Voltas Limited, a TATA Enterprise, announced that it has entered into an agreement for the marketing and sales of humidification plants from the reputed Indian manufacturer, Draft-Air India Pvt. Ltd.

This cooperation is expected to strengthen both UMPESL’s and Draft-Air’s reach within all spinning and post-spinning sectors of the rapidly growing and expanding textile industry, the company stated.

“This association allows us to offer truly world-class solutions in air engineering to meet the ever-demanding challenges of operating modern, sophisticated spinning, weaving, and knitting machines. We focus on climate and human needs,” said Pradip Roy, Head of the Textile Machinery Division at UMPESL.

This partnership adds to our established portfolio of products, further solidifying the company’s position as a market leader. We aim to provide customers with a one-stop-shop solution and state-of-the-art products to meet their complete manufacturing needs.

Draft-Air, an Indian company founded in 1986, entered into a collaboration with Chicago Blower Corporation, USA, in 2011. Draft-Air, headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, operates in a wide range of industrial segments, including aerospace, textiles, clean rooms, automobiles, and nuclear industries, to name a few.
