Uzbek Textile & Garment Exports Down 3.31% Between Jan & Sep

Uzbekistan exported textile and garments totaling to US $2.33 billion in the first nine months of the current year, down 3.31 percent compared to $2.41 billion in same period of previous year.

Exports of textiles like yarn touched $945 million between January and September 2023, while exports of clothing and other finished textile products amounted to $967.5 million.

The country exports 582 types of various textile products to 58 countries worldwide.

The Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan said in a statement that textile and apparel exports account for 13.2 percent of Uzbekistan’s overall exports during the period under review.
