Vardhman Textiles Net Profit Soars 26% In Q4 Of Fiscal 2024
Net profit at Ludhiana based Vardhman Textiles soared 26 percent to Rs 201 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, compared to Rs 159 crore in the comparable period of earlier fiscal.
Revenue in the January to March 2024 period dropped marginally by one percent to Rs 2,459 crore, as against Rs 2,485 crore in the same quarter of fiscal 2022-23
When compared with quarter ending December 31, 2023, revenue grew by 5.58 percent and net profit increased by 25.19 percent in the quarter under review.
The earnings per share in the reporting quarter was Rs 7.05 which grew by 26.43 percent over a year ago quarter.
However, for 12 months of fiscal 2023-24, Vardhman Textiles’ revenue amounted to Rs 9,505 crore, down 6.24 percent crore year on year, while net profit stood at Rs 632 crore also down at 20.57 percent.
