X-Rite Showing Latest Colour Solutions At AATCC Summit

At AATCC’s 2023 Textile Discovery Summit which begins from today and runs till September 14, X-Rite and Pantone will demonstrate the latest colour and appearance solutions.

“These are designed to help companies create and share digital materials across teams and suppliers to streamline the design to manufacturing process,” X-Rite said in a press release.

In addition, X-Rite will highlight how an end-to-end digital textile colour program can cut production time in half by expediting colour approvals, formulation, and colour evaluations.

“The result is an efficient digital process that saves time, money and reduces a company’s carbon footprint,” the company said.

Under design and specification, X-Rite will show solutions which build digital colour palettes and create digital colour standards to share across a global supply chain.

Its 3D Visualisation & Digital Material Twins help create virtual prototypes or digital material twins quickly and cost-effectively using spectral and imaging data to render original colour and texture onto 3D models.

The company’s colour formulation removes subjectivity from colour formulation and increases colour match rates by 50 percent.

Its production and quality control tools measure, maintain, compare, and analyse production colour against the standard to ensure it stays within tolerance.

The company’s digital textile printings solutions calibrate and profile digital textile presses for accurate colour.
