Zydex Selected For Apparel Impact Institute’s Climate Solutions Portfolio

Zydex, a leading innovator in textile printing solutions, has announced its selection for Apparel Impact Institute’s (Aii) Climate Solutions Portfolio (CSP). This prestigious recognition underscores Zydex’s commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of the fashion industry through innovative and sustainable solutions.

Apparel Impact Institute’s Climate Solutions Portfolio (CSP) serves as the industry’s premier clearinghouse of vetted implementation programmes and partners. Its core purpose revolves around activating a registry of sustainable solutions to encourage collective action and widespread implementation. Zydex’s vetting as CSP Registrant highlights their reduction potential in various use cases and their dedication to providing detailed impact data.

Epricon Technology
Zydex’s Epricon printing system represents a ground-breaking advancement in textile printing, utilizing co-polymer acrylic binder chemistry to deliver ultra-soft prints with depth, brightness and a feel comparable to reactive prints. This innovative technology eliminates the need for washing processes, reduces print rejections and enhances productivity and profitability. Extensive trials have confirmed its performance on cotton, viscose and its blends, positioning it as a viable alternative to traditional reactive printing methods for light and medium shades

The Epricon technology has been successfully implemented in India in collaboration with industry leaders in their printing facilities. Following initial success, the technology has been extended to mid-size units in India. Zydex is now focused on global adoption to maximize the impact of its sustainable printing solution.

Zydex has spotlighted its commitment to sustainable practices and has invited brands and manufacturers to explore the unique benefits of the Epricon solution. Zydex emphasized that while no single solution can address every challenge in the supply chain, the Epricon technology offers significant reduction potential in various use cases.

“We’re eager to collaborate with Aii and others in the ecosystem to advance impactful projects like ours that can move the fashion industry closer to sustainable production,” said Dr Ajay Ranka, Chairman & Managing Director, Zydex Group. “This selection reflects our dedication to providing detailed impact data and sustainable solutions,” Dr Ranka added.
