Eurofins India Gets IOAS Nod For GOTS, Textile Exchange
Eurofins Assurance has achieved a significant milestone with its India office receiving Certification Body accreditation from IOAS for the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and Textile Exchange programmes.
These internationally recognised certifications support sustainable practices by ensuring traceability of organic and recycled materials, enhancing transparency, and empowering communities.
Following a rigorous assessment process, IOAS has accredited several Eurofins Assurance offices, with the India office now officially recognised as a Certification Body. This accreditation affirms the company’s quality, integrity, and competence in the certification domain.
With this recognition, Eurofins Assurance is now authorised to offer the following certification standards across Asia and Europe, with expansion plans underway:
- Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)
- Textile Exchange
- Global Recycled Standard (GRS)
- Organic Content Standard (OCS)
- Recycled Claim Standard (RCS)
- Content Claim Standard (CCS)
Clients will also benefit from Eurofins Assurance’s upcoming digital platform, Impact Trace, designed to simplify and streamline the certification process.
