Texprocess 2026 Draws Strong Early Registrations

Texprocess 2026 is shaping up strongly, with more than 200 exhibitors from 24 countries already confirmed for the leading international trade fair for textile processing technologies, taking place 21–24 April 2026 in Frankfurt am Main. The high registration numbers, including many top brands, long-standing partners and 25 first-time exhibitors, highlight the industry’s commitment to tackling key future issues such as automation, digitalisation and artificial intelligence.

“Numerous long-standing customers as well as new exhibitors are placing their trust in Texprocess,” said Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies, Messe Frankfurt. “This is a strong signal. The fair provides exactly what the industry needs: global visibility, access to decision-makers and the right contacts. In times of economic pressure and geopolitical uncertainty, Texprocess offers concrete technological solutions for efficiency and flexibility.”

Among the companies already registered are Barudan (Japan), Brother (Germany), Kornit Digital (Germany), Macpi (Italy), Morgan Tecnica (Italy), Sheffield Cutting Equipment (USA), Style 3D | Assyst (Germany), Veit (Germany), Vetron Typical (Germany) and Zünd (Germany).

The list of new exhibitors spans the full spectrum of processing technologies, from cutting and embroidery to software and printing. These include Amann & Söhne (Germany), Avantex Software (USA), Coats Group (UK), Comelz (Italy), Cutting Edge Automation Machines (Italy), Humanetics Digital Europe (Germany), Mimaki Deutschland (Germany), Pathfinder (Australia) and Valvan (Belgium).

Against a backdrop of tariffs, investment restraints, declining consumption and geopolitical volatility, the sector is under pressure to streamline processes and secure supply chains. At Texprocess 2026, exhibitors will present solutions ranging from intelligent material flow systems and robot-assisted sewing units to AI-driven quality control tools.

“Technological innovations are the key to competitiveness for apparel manufacturers and technical textile processors,” said Elgar Straub, Managing Director of VDMA Textile Care, Fabrics and Leather Technologies. “Texprocess 2026 will once again set important trends, offering future-oriented solutions that strengthen the industry in challenging times.”

Exhibitors also benefit from the concurrent Techtextil fair, which attracts buyers from across the textile and apparel value chain. For 2026, Performance Apparel Textiles, Textile Chemicals & Dyes, and Fibres & Yarns will be located in Hall 9.0, directly adjacent to Texprocess in Hall 8.0 – creating even stronger visitor crossovers. At the last edition, 72 per cent of Techtextil visitors also attended Texprocess, underlining the added value for exhibitors.

Texprocess covers the full spectrum of processing technologies from design, cutting, sewing and embroidery to finishing and digital printing. Visitors come from a wide variety of industries, including fashion and apparel, denim, protective wear, footwear, home and contract textiles, automotive components and medical textiles. For buyers and decision-makers, the show provides a decisive market overview for investment planning and process optimisation.
