Saurer Unveils Next-Gen Spinning & Twisting Solutions At ITMA Asia 2025

Autocoro 11 rotor spinning station will show the new concept for Duo Sliver Feeding.

Saurer, a global leader in textile machinery, will showcase its latest innovations at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025 in Singapore, at Booth C301 in Hall 3. Highlighting spinning, twisting and automation solutions, Saurer’s presentation emphasizes efficiency, sustainability and digitalization, shaping the “yarns of tomorrow.”

Innovation Highlights at the Booth

Key innovations on display include the high-performance Autocard SC 8 coupled with the Can-AGV Hunter S1 for automated sliver can transport, the Zinser 51 ring-spinning machine with the compact Zpact FX drafting system, and the Autocoro 11 rotor spinning station with the new Duo Sliver Feeding concept and the CompactTwister. These technologies aim to optimize production, improve flexibility and conserve resources in spinning and twisting mills worldwide.

Spinning Preparation: Foundation for Yarn Excellence

CompactTwister – Two-for-one twisting machine for superior quality and efficiency.

The Autocard SC 8 delivers superior yarn quality, higher productivity and optimized energy efficiency for modern spinning mills. The Can-AGV Hunter S1 automates sliver can transportation, reducing manual handling, improving workforce utilization and increasing operational efficiency.

Spinning with Flexibility and Precision
The Zinser 51 combines precision engineering and smart automation to ensure maximum productivity and consistent yarn quality with significant energy savings. Its Zpact FX drafting device guarantees precise fibre control at high speeds.

The Autocoro 11 rotor spinning station introduces the Duo Sliver Feeding concept, allowing two different slivers to be blended directly on the machine in adjustable 1% increments. This innovation facilitates the production of coloured mélange yarns in smaller batches, reduces pre-spinning costs and maximizes reproducibility, opening up new possibilities for yarn design.

Saurer will also present the Autoairo air spinning station, the BD 8 semi-automated rotor spinning machine with 1,200 positions, and Texparts components for ring and rotor spinning, ensuring the highest yarn quality across applications.
