Taiwan Showcases Smart And Sustainable Textile Innovations At ITMA ASIA + CITME 2025

Taiwan’s textile machinery industry took the spotlight at ITMA ASIA + CITME 2025 in Singapore, highlighting its leadership in advancing smart and sustainable manufacturing across Asia. Under the theme ‘Reshaping Asian Manufacturing: Taiwan’s Smart & Sustainable Textile Solutions,’ a press briefing organised by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) highlighted the island’s growing influence in driving digitalisation, automation and green innovation in textile production.
The event gathered international media and buyers to explore Taiwan’s latest breakthroughs in AI-driven automation, digital process optimisation and energy-saving technologies, reaffirming its role as a reliable partner for eco-efficient, high-precision manufacturing. Six leading Taiwanese companies, namely, ACME, Copower Technology, KUANS Micro-Auto, Asia Kingdom Machinery, Logic Art Automation and Pailung Machinery Mill, unveiled integrated solutions that combine intelligence, sustainability and productivity across the textile value chain.
ACME presented the AM-ICD Intelligent Conveyor Drive High-Pressure Dyeing Machine, the world’s first low-liquor-ratio conveyor dyeing system that reduces water, energy and chemical use by more than 65%. Copower Technology showcased CASMAD, a fully automated dye formulation ‘command center’ that bridges laboratory precision with mass production through 24/7 intelligent operation and RFID traceability.
KUANS Micro-Auto introduced its Smart Dyeing Analyzer, an AI-powered system that monitors dye bath transparency and colour absorption in real time, helping factories cut development cycles and reduce chemical use. Asia Kingdom Machinery unveiled Digital Protect Technology, which uses AI and servo control to prevent fabric marking and surface damage during dyeing, ensuring consistency and protecting delicate materials.
Logic Art Automation featured its Dye House Smart Total Solution, an end-to-end automation platform integrating dosing, chemical management and predictive maintenance. The system, already adopted by over 50 dyeing factories worldwide, enables smart, data-driven and low-carbon operations. Pailung Machinery Mill debuted its next-generation electronic jacquard circular knitting machine equipped with real-time defect detection and automatic calibration, significantly reducing setup time while improving precision and energy efficiency.
Together, these innovations highlight Taiwan’s commitment to driving intelligent, low-carbon and circular textile production. From smart knitting and dyeing to process automation, Taiwan continues to strengthen its position as a key force in shaping a sustainable and resilient textile manufacturing future for Asia.
