Indorama Ventures, Jiaren Form JV To Boost Textile Circularity

Indorama Ventures’ fibres business, a leading global supplier of recycled technical textiles, polyester fibres and yarns, has entered into a joint venture with Jiaren Chemical Recycling, a global leader in chemical polyester recycling. The partnership aims to accelerate circularity in the global textile industry and expand high-quality recycled materials availability.

The joint venture targets unlocking up to 100,000 tonnes of textile-recycled PET spinning capacity per year, strengthening supply chain resilience, improving transparency and enhancing the value delivered across the industry.

Diego Boeri, Executive President, Indorama Ventures’ fibres business, said, “Mismanaged textile waste and the climate expectations of the next generation cannot be solved by one company alone. Achieving circularity requires significant investment in infrastructure, technology and operations. Only a unified value chain can build successful circular business models. Regulators must also support investments, particularly in Europe, and consumers need better understanding of global material flows to make informed choices. At Indorama Ventures, we believe in strong partnerships.”

Fang Jiayu, Chief Commercial Officer (International Market), Jiaren Chemical Recycling, added, “Jiaren is already among the world’s largest PET textile chemical recyclers and we continue to expand capacity. Partnering with a global leader like Indorama Ventures allows us to scale our impact, address the global textile waste crisis, and support brand owners with stable and diverse supply chains worldwide.”
