Armedangels Signs LOI For Spinnova Fibre

Armedangels has signed a non-binding Letter of Intent (LOI) with Spinnova to secure future access to Spinnova fibre volumes, marking an important step in Spinnova’s ambition to build an ecosystem that enables the wider availability of sustainable fibres in the textile market.
The LOI supports Spinnova’s strategy to create a consortium of like-minded partners to scale the production and adoption of Spinnova fibre. As part of this collaboration, ARMEDANGELS plans to explore the use of the fibre in future collections, aligned with its commitment to sustainable and ethical fashion.
Armedangels is known for its focus on responsible production, transparent supply chains and fair working conditions. The brand carefully selects materials based on strict criteria, including origin, processing, durability and environmental and social impact, making SPINNOVA® fibre a strong fit with its sustainability principles.
Commenting on the development, Pedro Brito, Senior Commercial Manager at Spinnova, said: “We are proud to partner with Armedangels, a brand that exemplifies sustainable and responsible fashion. As we build an ecosystem to support the scale-up of Spinnova® fibre, collaborating with partners who share our values is essential to transforming the textile industry.”
Päivi Eräpuu, Innovation & Circularity Manager at Armedangels, added, “Our Impact Roadmap drives us to explore materials that reduce our footprint and Spinnova® aligns perfectly with that vision. Its fundamentally different fibre-making approach shows strong potential as an alternative to cotton. While introducing new materials takes time, once we commit, we are fully invested in exploring Spinnova®’s role in our future collections.”
