Vandewiele Displaying New Carpet Weaving Machines At ITMA

Vandewiele is displaying new carpet weaving machines at ITMA 2023, which are built with state-of-the-art features that assure productivity, reduced costs, and higher quality carpets.

First is the RCF carpet weaving machine with a digital ‘Fast Creel’, weaving at highest speed ever of up to 250 RPM, while also offering flexibility for quick colour changes, is economical due to less machine stops and plannable creel changes and also generates less yarn waste.

“The three rapier cut-loop machine USF in Fast Creel solution has possibilities of alternative weave structures and perfect tension control in the loops and carpet manufacturers can look forward to higher efficiency, unparalleled production, and improved sustainability,” the company said.

In Handlook weaving machines, the new generation HCE3+ is equipped with the Vandewiele U4 jacquard, to apply highly productive three rapier weave structures and to make local flatweave effects, which offers new possibilities in designing and writing text.

According to Vandewiele, all weaving machines are characterised by the acronym ‘ACES’, which stand for Autonomous machines with sensors and analytical capabilities; Connected machines; Electrical motions instead of mechanical drives; and Smart machines that apply AI instead of operators.
