CMAI’s FAB Show 2026 To Power Garment Sourcing In Mumbai

The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) is set to host the 6th edition of the Fabrics, Accessories & Beyond (FAB) Show 2026 from April 2–4, 2026 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, reinforcing its position as India’s largest B2B sourcing platform for fabrics and accessories.

Spanning nearly 2 lakh sq. ft., the show will feature over 250 exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations in fabrics, trims, accessories, machinery and ancillary services. Designed as a comprehensive sourcing hub, the event will bring together garment manufacturers, exporters, retailers, private labels and e-commerce players under one roof to explore new materials, forge partnerships and streamline procurement.

Buyer pre-registrations have already recorded a 12% increase over last year, with the show expected to attract more than 14,000 trade visitors from over 320 cities across India. The visitor profile includes 2,000+ platinum dealers, alongside international buyers from 27 countries, including Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the US, UAE, Egypt, Mauritius and China.

A key highlight of this year’s edition is the debut of an International Pavilion, featuring leading global suppliers, complemented by strong participation from major domestic textile hubs such as Surat, Ahmedabad, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Gurugram & NCR, Erode, Tiruppur, Bengaluru and Mumbai. Curated business networking sessions will further enable targeted, one-on-one engagements between corporates, brands, exporters and key decision-makers.

Commenting on the event, Santosh Katariya, President, CMAI, said, “The FAB Show has evolved into a critical sourcing platform for India’s garment industry. As supply chains become increasingly complex and cost-sensitive, access to reliable suppliers and innovative materials under one roof is essential. The platform facilitates meaningful interactions that help businesses enhance efficiency and strengthen sourcing partnerships.”

Sustainability remains central to FAB Show 2026, with the introduction of the CMAI & SU.RE ECO-STITCH Sustainability Conclave on April 3. A dedicated Sustainability Pavilion will showcase eco-conscious innovations across textiles, accessories, certifications, and responsible production processes. In addition, the Sustainability Awards Grand Fashion Show will present 12 curated sequences highlighting AI-led design, Indian craftsmanship and sustainable materials.

CMAI has also partnered with leading design institutes, including the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Symbiosis Institute of Design, SOFT Pune, and the International School of Design, to promote emerging talent and innovation.

Naveen Sainani, Chairman of the FAB Show, added, “This edition brings together a diverse mix of Indian and global suppliers, offering buyers expanded sourcing opportunities. We are also placing a stronger emphasis on sustainability and technology-driven solutions, including AI-led initiatives, to support the industry’s transition towards smarter and more responsible manufacturing.”

With Artificial Intelligence rapidly reshaping the garment value chain, FAB Show 2026 will feature specialised solution providers offering advanced capabilities across design, production, inventory and retail. A dedicated segment on ‘Future Factory/Green Factories’ by Asmeeta Mega Fashion City will further highlight next-generation sustainable manufacturing infrastructure.

Conceptualised by CMAI, the FAB Show was launched to address the evolving sourcing needs of the garment industry. Over the years, it has grown into one of India’s most influential sourcing destinations. With enhanced scale, innovation and global participation, the 2026 edition is poised to be its most dynamic and impactful yet.
