Usalco Opens New Water Treatment Plant In Rancho Cucamonga

Usalco has inaugurated a new production facility in Rancho Cucamonga, marking its 27th manufacturing plant in the U.S. and strengthening its footprint in the Western region.
The facility aims to address growing demand for water treatment chemicals in Southern California, a region facing supply gaps amid rising population and infrastructure pressures. It will produce specialty coagulants and customized treatment solutions, complementing operations in Modesto.
Built with an investment of approximately $17 million, the plant will serve as a regional supply hub for municipal and industrial customers while improving supply reliability and service efficiency. Construction began in September 2025, and the site will employ a small team focused on chemical production and logistics.
Company executives said the new facility enhances Usalco’s ability to support water infrastructure needs, particularly in areas dealing with water scarcity and complex treatment requirements.
