Alfredo Ferre Appointed To Textile Exchange Governance Board

Alfredo Ferre, Chief Product, Innovation, and Sustainability Officer at Recover, has been appointed to the Textile Exchange Governance Board. With over 30 years of experience in the textile industry, Alfredo is recognized for his expertise in textile recycling and his dedication to advancing sustainability and innovation within the sector.

In his new role, Alfredo will contribute to strengthening the long-term stability of Textile Exchange and accelerating the adoption of preferred materials. He will continue his work at Recover while bringing his insights and perspectives from across the textile value chain to the board.

The Textile Exchange Governance Board includes members from leading companies such as Target, Patagonia, Columbia, and Lenzing. Board members serve a three-year term, with the option to serve up to three terms.

Alfredo expressed his honour at being appointed to the board, stating, “I look forward to contributing to the Textile Exchange’s mission of driving circularity and sustainability, addressing industry challenges, and helping to build a more responsible and trustworthy future for fashion.”
