Campus Activewear Elevates Uplaksh Tewary As Chief Operating Officer

Campus Activewear Ltd., has promoted Uplaksh Tewary to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), strengthening its leadership team as the company sharpens its focus on operational excellence and accelerated growth in India’s fast-evolving footwear and activewear market.

Based at the company’s Gurugram headquarters, Tewary will now oversee Campus Activewear’s end-to-end operational strategy, with a mandate to drive supply chain integration, enhance manufacturing efficiencies, and further strengthen the brand’s fast-fashion delivery capabilities across its nationwide footprint.

His elevation marks a significant milestone in a successful six-year journey with Campus Activewear, during which he has played a central role in scaling the company’s commercial and retail operations.

Prior to his appointment as COO, Tewary served as Chief Business Officer for more than two years, where he was instrumental in steering business growth and strengthening market reach. Earlier, he held key leadership roles including Country Head – D2C & Emerging Channels and Country Head – Retail & Key Accounts, contributing significantly to Campus’s expansion across multiple consumer touchpoints.

Before joining Campus Activewear, Tewary built an extensive leadership track record with some of the industry’s most recognized global brands. He served as Head of Business Unit Performance for Emerging Markets at Reebok, under adidas, where he played a strategic role in driving market performance. He also managed large-scale mono-branded retail operations across Southern and Eastern India.

His earlier professional journey includes leadership assignments at PUMA Group, where he handled multi-channel sales and export operations, as well as a three-year tenure at Titan Company Limited, where he gained broad-based retail and business management experience.

With over 17 years of experience across retail strategy, direct-to-consumer operations, and omni-channel business development, Tewary is widely regarded as a seasoned leader in the consumer and lifestyle sector.

His appointment comes at a pivotal time for Campus Activewear as the company continues to strengthen its market leadership and expand its operational capabilities to meet rising consumer demand in India’s competitive activewear segment.
