Trident Unveils Innovation-Led Growth Strategy At Bharat Tex 2026

Trident Group has unveiled its next phase of growth at Bharat Tex 2026, driven by an innovation-led strategy, manufacturing excellence and sustainable value creation. Under the theme ‘The Expression of Living’, the company showcased its latest innovations in home textiles, design collaborations and premium home décor collections.
As part of its long-term growth roadmap, Trident has established a dedicated Innovation Cell and invested over Rs 100 crore in advanced research & development and environmental performance. Backed by 17+ patents and 147 trademarks, the company is developing next-generation fibre blends, functional finishes and high-performance yarns aimed at premium and niche markets.
Building on a resilient FY26 performance, Trident said it will focus on maximising existing manufacturing assets, accelerating digitalisation across operations and strengthening its R&D capabilities to drive future growth.
Speaking at the event, Padma Dr. Rajinder Gupta, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Chairman Emeritus, Trident Group, said Bharat Tex has rapidly emerged as one of the world’s leading textile platforms.
“India is no longer simply participating in the global textile conversation, it is helping shape its future. At Trident, we believe the future of the industry lies at the intersection of innovation, design and craftsmanship. Through The Expression of Living, we are showcasing how purposeful innovation and world-class design can redefine modern living while carrying India’s creative heritage to the world.”
He also highlighted Trident’s partnership with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) to nurture design talent and strengthen India’s design ecosystem.
At Bharat Tex 2026, myTrident, the group’s home décor brand, introduced its upcoming festive collections and new home décor ranges. The company also unveiled Torani for myTrident, designer Karan Torani’s first home décor collaboration, alongside the second edition of Shivan & Narresh for myTrident, reinforcing its focus on design-led collaborations inspired by Indian craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics.
Neha Gupta Bector, Chairperson, myTrident, said the theme reflects the belief that homes have become an expression of personal identity.
“Our collaborations with Karan Torani and Shivan & Narresh, along with our latest festive collections, demonstrate our vision of creating spaces that celebrate individuality while remaining rooted in Indian design and craftsmanship.”
Rajneesh Bhatia, CEO, myTrident, said the company plans to expand its retail network from 7,000 to 10,000 touchpoints across India to strengthen its presence in the domestic home furnishings market. He added that the company is also focusing on expanding its footprint in the HORECA and institutional segments, while growing its gifting solutions portfolio.
With its innovation-led strategy, investments in R&D, and continued focus on premium products, sustainability and design excellence, Trident reaffirmed its commitment to shaping the future of modern home textiles while strengthening India’s position in global markets.
