RSWM Reports 16.1% Growth In Q1 FY27 EBITDA; PAT Rises 2.4 Times

RSWM Ltd., one of India’s leading manufacturers of value-added yarns, denim fabrics, knitted fabrics and green polyester fibre, reported resilient financial performance for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, despite continued challenges in global textile markets.

The company posted revenue of Rs 1,161 crore in Q1 FY27, up 1.7 percent sequentially, supported by stable domestic demand and improved volumes. However, revenue was marginally lower by 0.7 percent compared to the corresponding quarter last year due to weaker export demand, geopolitical uncertainties and raw material price volatility.

Gross profit increased 5.8 percent year-on-year to Rs 466 crore, with gross margins improving by 253 basis points to 39.8 percent. EBITDA rose 16.1 percent year-on-year to Rs 94 crore, while EBITDA margin strengthened to 8.0 percent from 6.9 percent a year ago.

Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at Rs 17 crore, compared to Rs 7 crore in Q1 FY26, representing a 2.4-fold increase. PAT margin improved to 1.4 percent from 0.6 percent in the corresponding period last year.

Commenting on the results, Riju Jhunjhunwala, Chairman & Managing Director, RSWM Ltd., said the company’s performance reflected strong execution, operational excellence and an improved product mix. He noted that RSWM’s integrated business model, customer-centric approach and focus on value-added and sustainable products had helped the company navigate a challenging environment while strengthening its market position.

Rajeev Gupta, Joint Managing Director, RSWM Ltd., said the turnaround in performance demonstrated the effectiveness of the company’s long-term strategy. He added that RSWM would continue to focus on innovation, sustainability, operational efficiency and value-added products while making prudent investments to build a future-ready organisation and deliver sustainable growth.
