Levi Strauss & Co Appoints Ashwini Ramakrishnan As Brand Lead For India

Levi Strauss & Co has appointed Ashwini Ramakrishnan as Brand Lead for India. Ramakrishnan announced her new role on LinkedIn, stating that she joined the company in August 2026.
Ramakrishnan brings more than a decade of experience across brand marketing, consumer strategy, digital, communications and retail. Before joining Levi Strauss & Co, she was Head of Brand Marketing at Cleartrip from November 2025 to July 2026. She led brand strategy, creative direction and social media strategy, along with brand positioning, integrated marketing campaigns and social-first initiatives.
Prior to Cleartrip, Ramakrishnan spent more than four years at Flipkart. From June 2023 to October 2025, she served as Brand and Social Media Lead for Shopsy by Flipkart, where she was responsible for brand building, public relations, consumer research, design and social media.
Earlier, as Senior Marketing Manager at Flipkart from June 2021 to June 2023, she handled brand marketing for categories including mobiles, refurbished electronics and Flipkart Quick. Her responsibilities included go-to-market strategy, campaign development and consumer-focused marketing initiatives.
Ramakrishnan previously spent over five years with Titan Company. As Marketing Lead for Mia by Tanishq from April 2018 to May 2021, she worked across brand positioning, go-to-market strategy, content strategy, media planning, consumer research, public relations, celebrity management and e-commerce. She earlier served as Assistant Brand Manager at Tanishq from October 2015 to March 2018, working on diamond jewellery collection launches and the brand’s digital presence.
Earlier in her career, Ramakrishnan worked with The Hindu as Assistant Manager and Management Trainee, contributing to the launch of The Hindu Tamil, the relaunch of The Hindu Business Line and brand communication for roofandfloor.com. She also completed an internship with DDB Mudra Max.
Ramakrishnan holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Communications Management from the Mudra Institute of Communications and a PG Diploma in Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism.
Her appointment comes as Levi Strauss & Co continues to strengthen its brand presence in India, with Ramakrishnan bringing experience across fashion, retail, e-commerce and consumer-focused marketing to the role.
