WFB Baird Signs MoU With Tamil Nadu Government For Wet Spinning Facility

WFB Baird & Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Guidance, Government of Tamil Nadu, to establish a wet spinning manufacturing facility in the state.
The MoU was signed in the presence of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, marking a significant step in the company’s plans to strengthen its manufacturing presence in India and contribute to the state’s textile and industrial ecosystem.
WFB Baird & Company was represented at the signing ceremony by Chairman James Baird, CEO Suchitra Menon and COO Pradeep Pillai.
The proposed facility will combine advanced technology, manufacturing expertise and responsible production practices, with a focus on sustainable manufacturing. The investment is also expected to contribute to industrial development in Tamil Nadu while creating employment and supporting economic opportunities in the region.
The company said the project reflects its commitment to investing in the future of sustainable textile manufacturing in India.
WFB Baird also acknowledged the support and partnership extended by Guidance, Government of Tamil Nadu, as it moves forward with the proposed facility.
