Deepak Tankala Appointed Regional Head, Worsted Yarn At Grasim Industries

Grasim Industries Limited, part of the Aditya Birla Group, has appointed Deepak Tankala as Regional Head, Worsted Yarn, strengthening its leadership team within the company’s textile business.

Tankala is an experienced textile industry professional with expertise spanning brand marketing, commercial leadership, international markets and yarn business development. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving business growth and strengthening Grasim’s presence in the worsted yarn segment.

Prior to joining Grasim Industries, Tankala served as Head of Brand Marketing at Sutlej Textiles and Industries Ltd., where he developed expertise in brand strategy, market positioning and business development within the textile sector.

Earlier, he served as Country Head at Sulochana Cotton Spinning Mills Pvt. Ltd., in Bangladesh, gaining international exposure and experience in managing business operations across markets.

With a career spanning textile marketing, international business, commercial strategy and market development, Tankala brings a diverse combination of industry knowledge and leadership experience to his new role at Grasim Industries.
