Trützschler Card Clothing Expands Service Network In Peru, Colombia And Ecuador

Trützschler Card Clothing (TCC) has expanded its regional service network across Peru, Colombia and Ecuador to provide faster technical support, shorter service lead times and greater local expertise to customers in the textile and nonwovens industries.
The expansion strengthens TCC’s presence in the Andean region, where manufacturers are increasingly focusing on improving quality, productivity and operational efficiency. Peru has one of South America’s established spinning industries, supported by its production of Pima and Tangüis cotton, while Colombia and Ecuador continue to see investments in spinning and nonwovens manufacturing.
The company has established workshop partnerships with long-standing customers in all three countries to provide card clothing services closer to customers. The local service centres offer card clothing mounting and installation at customer sites, services for flat tops and licker-in wires, machine specification and setting support for both Trützschler and non-Trützschler cards, troubleshooting and technical consulting, as well as consulting and wire services for nonwoven cards of major brands.
These services are designed to help mills maintain consistent carding performance, extend clothing lifetime and improve product quality and production efficiency. Customers also benefit from access to local technical support in Spanish.
The regional service activities are supported by TCC’s headquarters in Germany, which provides its local teams and customers with technical expertise in spinning and carding.
“Our goal is to make our expertise available as close as possible to our customers’ operations,” said Thomas Streicher, Regional Sales Manager for Latin America at Trützschler Card Clothing. “With the expanded service network, we can provide faster support while maintaining the high service standards Trützschler Card Clothing is known for.”
In Peru, TCC has partnered with Tejidos Jorgito, which provides workshop facilities serving as a local service hub for the region. The partnership enables TCC specialists to provide card clothing services and technical support to customers in Peru and neighbouring markets.
Tejidos Jorgito operates 15 TC 19i cards along with other Trützschler carding machines. The company employs around 700 professionals across its open-end, ring-spinning and vortex-spinning operations and produces yarns ranging from Ne 6/1 to Ne 50/1. Its products are supplied to domestic and export markets, including Bolivia, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, Chile and the United States.
In Quito, Ecuador, and Medellín, Colombia, TCC has established similar partnerships to strengthen local service capabilities and provide technical support to customers across the Andean region.
The expanded service network is expected to enable closer collaboration with customers, faster troubleshooting and quicker implementation of machine optimisation measures. Through the initiative, TCC aims to help mills achieve improvements in carding performance, product quality, efficiency and overall operational reliability.
