Bombay Dyeing Showcases Six Craft-Inspired Bedding Designs

Bombay Dyeing is showcasing six designs inspired by traditional art and textile crafts under its Celebrating India Collection. Made from 100% cotton with a 300-thread-count construction and digital prints, the bedding range interprets embroidery, folk art, printing and weaving traditions for contemporary homes.

The collection features Chamba Rumal, Warli Print, Chikankari, Wax Batik, Carpet Weaving and Karad Weaving Craft, each distinguished by its motifs, patterns and colour palette.

Chamba Rumal draws on the embroidery tradition’s floral patterns, decorative borders and symbolic animal motifs in vibrant blue, red, green and yellow. Warli Print uses geometric forms, nature-inspired elements and motifs reminiscent of the Tarpa dance, presented in earthy colours.

The Chikankari design interprets delicate embroidery through floral motifs and subtle patterns in blush pink, sky blue, mint green and lavender. Wax Batik takes inspiration from wax-resist textile printing, combining abstract leaf motifs, geometric patterns and layered colour effects in soft pastel shades.

Carpet Weaving incorporates Persian-style patterns, Turkish gul motifs and ornamental detailing in deep maroon, indigo and warm earthy tones. Karad Weaving Craft features geometric borders, textured patterns and woven-textile motifs in maroon, terracotta, brown and beige.

Through the collection, Bombay Dyeing brings craft-inspired imagery to digitally printed home textiles, offering a range of vibrant and understated designs for modern bedrooms.
