AATCC Foundation Offers Student Research Support Grants
The AATCC Foundation is now accepting applications for its Student Research Support Grant Program, offering financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students working on textile-related projects. Students must submit proposals by October 15, 2024, for funding consideration in January 2025.
The application is a simple online form, which includes a project description and the student’s resume. Applicants are encouraged to have their major professor or advisor submit a supporting cover letter outlining the significance of the research and the student’s ability to conduct it.
Priority will be given to research focusing on test method development, textile performance evaluation in real-use scenarios, and related correlations. Grants range from US$ 500 to US$ 4,000, with an additional reimbursement of up to Us$ 500 available for travel or conference registration to present the research.
